The Studio
Why we make one watch
Most makers chase range. We chose the opposite. One watch, made to order, finished by hand, in numbers small enough that every piece passes through attentive hands.
One thing, made well
A larger catalogue would be easier to sell and harder to mean. We would rather make a single watch worth keeping than a shelf of watches worth replacing. Locus is that watch. Everything we know goes into it, and nothing is held in stock. A piece begins only when someone chooses the night it will carry.

The bench is quiet. The work never outruns the care.
We work from a small studio on the equator, where every watch is assembled with care and attention to detail. Production is limited, and communication is personal. You can speak directly with the people responsible for your watch at every stage.
The movement, and the hand
At the centre is a Swiss automatic, the Sellita SW300-1 b in premium grade, chosen for its accuracy and its long, serviceable life. Around it sits a 36mm case in hand-finished 316L steel, a sapphire crystal, and a dial whose constellations are applied by hand. The strap is genuine Italian leather on quick-release bars. The proportions are deliberately restrained, a watch made to be worn for decades rather than a season.

How a Locus is made
- 01
You choose a date, a place and a time. We compute the real sky over that moment.
- 02
We render a preview of your dial and send it for your approval before any metal is touched.
- 03
Hand-finishing begins. Each piece is individually numbered, signed, and presented with a certificate of the night it holds. Production takes six to eight weeks.
This is not a watch for everyone, and it is not meant to be. It is made for one person and one moment. If that idea stays with you, we would be glad to make yours.
